Organic Buckwheat Flour (1.8kg/4 lbs)
Organic Manitoba grown buckwheat, milled into flour in our dedicated gluten-free facility. Buckwheat is a gluten-free grain, and has been processed/dehulled/cleaned and milled on gluten-free equipment. Perfect for traditional french crepes, or just to add a bit of extra nutrition and flavour into whatever you’re baking.
Buckwheat flour is a new one for us, but we’re excited about experimenting further and perfecting our milling technique. At the moment, our flour is looking most like the medium-dark flour shown at the top of the photo below. It’s a bit coarse, and we’re looking for ways to mill the flour a bit finer, but this seems to work for now…
