There are a few different shipping options that should show up for getting your order to you.
The first option is to come to our farm to pick up your order. We love showing people around our mill! But it’s a bit of a hike (1.5 hour drive from Winnipeg…)
The second option is to co-ordinate with one of our Winnipeg pick-up days. I usually set a different time and/or location every week or two. I’ll have the van loaded up with your order, and hover near a park where the kids can play, or outside their music lessons for half an hour and you can meet me there. It’s not fancy, and requires that your schedule matches up with mine, but it can work!
The third option is to pick up your order from the Refill Market. After you place your order, I will mill and prepare your grains at the farm, and on my text trip into the city (usually on Wednesdays) i’ll bring your order to the Refill Market and then let you know when it’s ready for you to pick up. The Refill Market is located at 634 Notre Dame Ave., and you can pick up any day over the following week or so, during their regular store hours.
I hate driving my beast of a van around Winnipeg, but for those who’s schedules or mobility are limited I can accommodate a small number of home deliveries for a $15 charge. I’ll be in touch the day before to ensure that there’s a safe/sheltered place to leave your order.
Finally, if you live outside of Winnipeg but would like your order sent by Canada Post, you can submit an order (62lbs or less), and I will generate a shipping quote and let you know what it would cost to send this to you by mail. Expect about $25 for a minimum charge, usually averaging out to about $1.5/lb depending on your postal code. Please do not send payment for orders sent by post until after I have gotten back to you with a quote.
